Hello UK!
Sitting in a pub (Duke of Connaught, Windsor) having a drink, catching up on emails and updating the website. Can you believe it, they have free wireless at pubs!! Drinks & technology, what a great combination!! :) To my entrepeneur friends, introduce this to our Sydney pubs!! It's fantastic!! Though David feels obligated to pay for this usage, so he has more than made up for this in trying out all the local beer!!
A little tired, after 22+hrs on a plane. This was our first time with Virgin Atlantic, not bad, but Emirates wins hands down on comfort of their economy seats! Next time we will have to go back to our favourite airline, especially if your flying economy!:(
At Heathrow, we went to work trying to rent a car & then drove all day, checking out Stockley park, where I am trying to base myself for work & then suburbs where we went to live. Ended up driving to Windsor (nah didn't see the Queen) & finding some accomodation for the week.
Well back to work, in chasing down work stuff, where to live, estate agents to visit etc, etc..
Make sure all you guys keep in touch!! This morning had my first day homesick moment, but am adjusting!!
BTW weather is not very good, 12C and rainy!! It's like our coldest Sydney winter's day!! :( Gotta keep reminding myself, Paris, Prague, Athens, Barcelona is just a stone's throw away!!:)
